Today should have been a beautiful wedding day. Joe, our son and Simone, were to be married near the beach in Paton’s Rock but everything had to be postponed. We were the only family members to get here because we came just before travel restrictions were in place.
Instead of a wedding, we had a ‘Joe and Simone Day’, dressed up in sparkly clothes. This is the bow tie plus sparkles that I would have worn to the wedding. Some sadness of course but the sun shone and there will be another time for celebrations when the world turns back to whatever normal is going to be.
