Only one bear got a mask. Virus protection or did the eggs go bad?
We managed a walk into town yesterday. Everything felt slightly eerie and forlorn, even in the sunshine. It was deserted except for one or two individuals and a couple walking their dogs down by the river. Only a few cars at the supermarket on the edge of town.
We paddled in very fresh water and dried our feet on the warm rocks on the bank listening to the river flowing past. A New Zealand Heron and a pair of Weka kept us under observation.
Jollity and community effort coming through nonetheless.
You conjure up the atmosphere of this strange time very well.
Yay! I got my Like buttons working!
Paddling in a river! Reminds me of a long long time ago. Must try it again! Nice picture.
